13 | 07 | 2010 JT back fighting in Brno
BKS supported World Superbike racer James Toseland fought to commendable 7th and 4th place finishes today in Brno. The Sterilgarda Yamaha World Superbike rider now lies 6th in the Championship standings, just 12 points off of 5th.
The double World Champion started from 10th on the grid after struggling to find grip on his qualifying tyres in yesterdays Superpole. The BKS-supported rider made steady progress throughout each of the two 20 lap races, finishing 7th in race one before going even better in race two and finishing 4th.
The World Superbike Championship now travels to Silverstone in Great Britain for Round 10 and James home round.
James commented, "Its been a frustrating day. I had launch control problems in both races but to fight from last to fourth in the second race helped to finish the day off on a high. I thought I wasnt prepared to have next week off feeling miserable so I rode hard and the bike worked really well. I dug deep and went for it and managed to get past 12 guys in the next lap and then keep on pushing towards the front.
